The mission of the Kansas City Networking Group is to grow the business of every KCNG member through the exchange of qualified referrals. Based on a thorough understanding of each other's business offerings and practices, we refer existing clients and new prospects to members confident that their needs will be satisfied in a highly professional manner
Dear Prospective Team Member:
This informational letter is about KCNG (Kansas City Network Group) a unique organization, specializing in business referrals among members. What makes this a unique organization? Let me briefly tell you about KCNG.
Belonging to KCNG is like having dozens of sales people working for you, because all of them carry several copies of your business cards around with them. When they meet someone who could use your products or services, they hand out your card and recommend you. It's as simple as that! “Givers Gain”. If I give you business you'll give me business and we'll both benefit as a result. The more members we have the great opportunity for you to receive more referrals.
Networking requires commitment. The most successful network groups are comprised of participants who are sincerely committed to helping one another through networking. They are a team. As a participant in KCNG, you are responsible for complying with the policies and guidelines of the organization. A partial list of the policies of KCNG is listed below:
- Only one person from each professional specialty is permitted to join the Kansas City Network Group. Example: If you are signed up as our P & C Insurance agent, you may not also solicit Life Insurance leads if we have a Life Insurance Agent.
- Participants should represent their primary occupation, not a part-time business.
- Attendance is critical. If you cannot attend a meeting, you may send a substitute. Members are expected to miss no more than 3 meetings a quarter. When a member misses more than 3 meetings, their classification becomes available.
- Participation in the group by members is a key to the success of a group. Members can participate by bringing bona-fide referrals and/or visitors to meetings.
- Members are expected to bring 2 guest a quarter.
- Members are expected to bring 12 outgoing referrals a quarter.
- Recruiting for Multi-Level Marketing is not permitted.
- Members are expected to pay their initiation fee of $50 after the second meeting and before the third meeting.

KCNG provides a structured and supportive system of giving and receiving business.
The KCNG does this by providing an environment in which you develop personal relationships with dozens of other qualified business professionals. By establishing this "formal" relationship with other people, you will have the opportunity to substantially increase your business.
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you or a member of your company to join us for a get acquainted meeting this Friday at Mimi’s Café at 95th & Quivira, Overland Park, KS at 7:00 AM. The weekly meeting is every Friday.
